When it comes to Weight Loss San Diego going on a diet can be really challenging, especially if you don’t have time to meal prep every week. Having low carb smoothies can be a great meal substitute and help you to lose weight without having to do an extreme diet. Remember when trying to lose weight you also need to incorporate daily exercise, stay hydrated (which will help with mistaking thirst for hunger) and find balance in your meals. Here are some great low carb smoothies I have added into my meal plans that have help to keep off the pounds.
My new favorite low carb smoothie I have for breakfast is easy to make. Here is what you will need: 1 ½ cups of almond milk (or coconut milk), ¼ cup of cucumber, ¼ cup of avocado, ½ teaspoon of chia seeds, 1 ounce of spinach, ¼ cup of celery, 1 scoop of protein powder, 1 teaspoon of matcha, 10 drops of liquid stevia. The matacha powder is optional and use the chia seeds to garish your finished smoothie. Not only will this smoothie keep you full for the morning but it will also give you a boost of energy.
In the summer time when the strawberries are fresh I love to make this smoothie for lunch. Here is what you will need: 1 cup of almond or coconut milk, ½ cup of frozen strawberries, 2 tablespoons of almonds, ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon of chia seeds. For this smoothie add all the ingredients to the blender and enjoy!!!!
